Etsy Channel Settings

This article will explain the function of sections in the Esty channel settings. Before starting, make sure you’ve connected your Etsy channel with LitCommerce, then click on Channel Setting in your Etsy Listing Page.

Channel Name

The channel name section indicates the name of your Etsy channel on LitCommerce. This name is only used on LitCommerce (does not show up on your Etsy site) and can be changed anytime.

Connection

The Connection section shows the basic information about your Etsy Account that is connected with LitCommerce, containing the Etsy Username, store URL, and status of the connection. You can test the connection between LitCommerce and Etsy by clicking Test Connection button.

Pricing

This section allows you to control how the prices of your products on the Etsy site are synchronized with the prices on your main store.

Price sync: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will adjust the prices on Etsy to match the main store, and any changes in the prices in your main store will be reflected on Etsy automatically.

Use Sale Price: By default, LitCommerce uses the compare-at price (if available) for price synchronization. If this option is enabled, we will use the sale price for price synchronization.
For example, if you have a product with a regular price of $10 and a compare-at price of $15 on your main store, LitCommerce will use $15 as the price on Etsy by default. However, if you enable this option, LitCommerce will use the regular price ($10) for price synchronization instead.

Price Rule: This option allows you to automatically adjust the prices of all listings on Etsy in relation to the prices in your main store. You can choose to increase or decrease the product price by a fixed amount or a percentage, and round up or down the final price.
For example, if you have a product with a regular price of $10 in your main store, and you choose to increase the product price by 20% and round up the final price on Etsy, LitCommerce will use $12 as the price on Etsy.
Please find more details about the Price Rules here

If your Mainstore and your channel do not have the same currency, please follow this guide to use Price Adjustment for currency conversion.
If your product uses a price template, we will ignore this setting.

Inventory

This section allows you to control how the inventory of your products on Etsy is synchronized with the inventory in your main store.

Inventory Sync: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will update the quantities on Etsy to match the main store, and any changes in the stock quantities in your main store will be reflected on Etsy automatically.
This feature also automatically imports new Orders from Etsy to LitCommerce tool and syncs updated quantities back to your Mainstore. Please note that only orders created since you enabled inventory sync will be processed.

Keep the product active: This feature allows you to keep your product on Etsy active if the product in the main store is in the status private/ draft/ archived/ inactive.

Inventory Rules: Automatically adjust the quantities on this channel in relation to the total quantity in your main store.

Quantity: This rule allows you to send only a certain percentage of current in-stock items from Mainstore to Etsy.
For No Manage stock listings (no managed stock of the product on Mainstore), you can set the quantity shown on Etsy to a fixed number.
Maximum Quantity: This rule allows you to set the maximum quantity displayed on Etsy. This is a useful technique to create scarcity in your listings, hide how many you actually have from other sellers, and get around Etsy's selling limits.
Minimum Quantity: Setting a minimum number means that LitCommerce will display a minimum of specific units on Etsy no matter how many products you have in your central catalog. For example, if your available quantity drops to 0, but you have a minimum quantity rule of 5, LitCommerce will keep your listing quantity at 5.

In case your main store is Shopify and there are several inventory locations, you can choose one or multiple inventory locations to synchronize your product inventory from Shopify to Etsy.

Order

This section allows you to control the way that orders from Etsy are imported and processed by LitCommerce.

Unlinked order notifications: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will send you an email notification when there is an order from Etsy that has listing that is not linked with a product in the main store, so that you can manually link the listing on the order to the correct product on your main store and sync order again.

Skip Unpaid Orders If you enable this option, LitCommerce will ignore all new orders on eBay that are unpaid. We will not import the unpaid order from eBay to the main store as well as not sync inventory from that order.

Import Orders to MainStore: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will import new orders from Etsy to your main store and sync the order status between the two platforms.
Please DO NOT send any shipping notification to the customer before our system automatically updates the tracking number

Keep Order Number from Channel: The order number from the channel will be imported and preserved in the order number in the Main Store.

Import Orders Without Tax: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will subtract the tax amount from the total amount of the orders before importing them to your main store. If you disable it, LitCommerce will import the orders with the tax amount included.

Buyer Accepts Marketing: This refers to whether the customer has granted consent to receive promotional emails from the Main Store.

Send Receipt: This refers to whether an order confirmation will be sent to the customer.

Send Fulfillment Receipt: This refers to whether a shipping confirmation will be sent to the customer.

Other Sync

SKUs Sync
If you enable this option, LitCommerce will automatically overwrite any existing SKUs on your Etsy with the SKUs from your main store.

Please note that SKU sync will override existing SKUs in your Etsy live store. Enable this button only when you want to maintain SKUs in the Etsy live store exactly the same as in the Main Store

Title Sync
Enabling this option will start updating the titles from mainstore products to the linked listings on this channel.

Description Sync
Enabling this option will start updating the descriptions from mainstore products to the linked listings on this channel.

Clear Selected Product In List
Defaultly, LitCommerce will keep the selected listings on the Channel Product List after taking an action to bulk update them. Enabling this option will refresh the selected listings after an action is taken.

For Shopify

Create on Shopify Location: It allows you to choose a Shopify inventory location where the product inventory will be added when you create a product from Etsy to Shopify via our app.

Save Setting

After adjusting all the options according to your preferences, remember to click Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.
