Prerequisites Setup

In order to publish a product on TikTok Shop, the seller first needs to set up the necessary information on the seller site, such as the Warehouse, Delivery Options. Please read the following article for detailed instructions on the setup steps.

If you want to enable Shipped by seller, you need to create a Shipping Template on TikTok's seller site.

Select products

1. First of all, you need to create a new draft listing. Please look at the left sidebar menu and navigate to All products.
2. Tick the corresponding checkbox in front of the products you want to list on TikTok and select action List products on Channel.



3. A popup will appear, please choose TikTok and click Add as draft now.



All product data will be copied into draft listings, and from that point, listings data will be maintained separately from the original main store products.
Price, Inventory modification can be automatically applied to listings if configured in Channels settings.
Other field modifications can be automatically applied to listings using Default Templates

After that, there is a notification that Products have been added to the Draft section in the channel. You can go to the tab Draft on the TikTok channel on LitCommerce to find the new listing.


NOTE
When a user adds a draft listing for a channel for the first time, they will see the "Add default template" pop-up window appearing. This is specifically shown only during the initial addition of draft listings. It does not display all templates associated with the channel but only shows the required templates, typically the Category template and Shipping template. The purpose is to assist users in conveniently adding templates to apply information to multiple listings at once.



The templates, once added in this step, will automatically become the default templates and can only be added once using this method.

Users have the option to choose SKIP to bypass the process, and even if SKIP is selected, the pop-up will not appear again when adding listings for the second time.

At this step, the listing has not been published in your TikTok shop yet. Now it’s time to customize your listing information before going live.

Publish a Product to TikTok

To publish a simple product on TikTok shop from your Main Store, you need to provide some necessary information. Click on the product details, and you'll notice that the "Category" and "Shipping" tabs are highlighted in red, indicating that you need to add some information.

For TikTok US users, in case you have more than one Warehouse on your TikTok shop, you will be able to map the warehouse options in the Channel Settings.
For TikTok UK and others, it is possible to setup and choose different Delivery Options on TikTok to apply to your listings. If no option is selected, it will get the value from the Default option setup on TikTok account.

Category

Every product on TikTok needs to be assigned to a specific category. When you click on the Category tab, LitCommerce will help you find a suggested category from the TikTok system. The auto-suggest category function can save you a lot of time searching for a category from the TikTok dropdown. However, if you prefer to manually look for another category, you can always search or browse for a different category on TikTok to assign to your products.



Next, select a brand for your product by entering the brand name in the search box. Brand selection is optional, so if you don't have a brand, you can choose "No Brand."



Each product will have a different list of product attributes. You don't need to provide all attributes, but having more attributes for a product will help TikTok shop's system accurately evaluate and reach more customers.



Tips: In addition to entering product details directly, you can use "Category" and "Shipping" templates for faster listing. The Category template is mandatory if you want to list variant products.
