How to create Etsy Templates & Recipes
To bulk edit multiple Listings with similar attributes, you can create and apply Templates & Recipes. This will automatically populate a predefined format of Listing attributes.
This article will walk you through creating Etsy Templates and Recipes.

The steps on how to create a Template can be found HERE. Below is the breakdown of each Template on Etsy.
Select the Shipping Profile and Return Policy created from your Etsy store.
Click on the Refresh button to reload the latest Shipping Profiles and Return Policies.
Choose the weight and dimension unit, then enter their values or select a Product Attribute from All Products to map to the value.
(Information box) If the weight unit is selected, the weight will be automatically converted when published on Etsy.

You can select available Product Types ( for Shopify Main Store only) to automatically assign to the Template when adding new Products from All Products to the Etsy Channel.
Choose the Production Partners in the About This Item section.
Select a Primary Category from Etsy or enter relevant keywords to browse options.
If you have the Etsy category ID, enter the Category #: box to automatically populate the category.
Once the Primary Category is selected, complete the additional information that populates below.
Add tags for your listing (imported from All Products if available). LitCommerce will automatically adjust tags to meet Etsy’s standards:
- Remove the last letters if a tag has more than 30 characters.
- Keep only the first 13 tags (if more are provided).
- Remove special symbols.
Click on Use Tags from the Main Store to automatically apply the tags from your Main Store if available.
Select the Shop Section created from your Etsy store. Click the Refresh button to update the latest Shop Section from Etsy to LitCommerce.
Modify the Listing Price by selecting one of the following options:
Calculated Price: Follow the basic Price Rules Options.
Click on Add Adjustment to add multiple calculations to the Price.
Price override: Manually enter a numeric value or select a Product Attribute in All Products to display.
The template starts with default placeholders like {{name}} and {{description}}, which are the Product title and Product Description in the Main Store respectively.
They are the Field Mappings used to pull the values of available attributes from the linked Product in the All Products tab to display on Etsy.
Additionally, you can select other attributes from the Main Store to display here.
If you want to retain add specific information from the Sales Channel, and add "channel" in the brackets to retain. For example: {{channel.name}}.
Etsy does not support HTML in Product Description. They will be stripped when pushing to Etsy.
Toggle ON Personalization and enter the instructions to the buyer regarding the Listing customization.
Instructions: Enter guidance for buyers on customization requirements.
Char Count Max: Set a maximum character limit for the personalization text.
Is Required: Specify whether buyers must provide customization details.
Etsy Recipes follow the same instructions as the Recipe.
