TikTok Channel Settings

If you are using LitCommerce to list your products on TikTok, you need to configure your TikTok channel settings to sync your prices, inventory, orders, and other information with your main store. In this article, we will explain what each section of TikTok settings means and how to adjust them according to your needs.

Channel Name

The channel name field shows the name of your sales channel on LitCommerce. This name is only used on LitCommerce (does not affect the TikTok site) and can be changed anytime you want.

Connection

This section shows the basic information about your TikTok account which is connecting with LitCommerce, including Seller Name, Region, and connection status. You can also test the connection between LitCommerce and TikTok by clicking on the Test connection button.

Pricing

This section allows you to control how the prices of your products on TikTok are synchronized with the prices on your main store.

Price Sync: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will adjust the prices on TikTok to match with the main store, and any changes in the prices in your main store will be reflected on TikTok automatically.

Use Sale Price: By default, LitCommerce uses the compare-at price (if available) for price synchronization. If this option is enabled, we will use the sale price for price synchronization.
For example, if you have a product with a regular price of $10 and a compare-at price of $15 on your main store, LitCommerce will use $15 as the price on TikTok by default. However, if you enable this option, LitCommerce will use the regular price ($10) for price synchronization instead.

Price Rules:
This option allows you to automatically adjust the prices of all listings on TikTok in relation to the prices on your main store. You can choose to increase or decrease the product price by a fixed amount or a percentage, and round up or down the final price.
For example, if you have a product with a regular price of $10 in your main store, and you choose to increase the product price by 20% and round up the final price on TikTok, LitCommerce will use $12 as the price on TikTok.
Please find more details about Price Rules here

Inventory

This section allows you to control how the inventory of your products on TikTok is synchronized with the inventory in your main store.

Inventory Sync:
If you enable this option, LitCommerce will update the quantities on TikTok to match the main store, and any changes in the stock quantities in your main store will be reflected on TikTok automatically.
This feature also automatically imports new Orders from TikTok to LitCommerce tool and syncs updated quantities back to your Mainstore. Please note that only orders created since you enable Inventory sync will be processed.

Warehouse Mapping: If you are using Shopify and have multiple locations setup, this section allows you to map the locations on Shopify to the corresponding Warehouses in TikTok. You can map one warehouse on TikTok to more than one Location on Shopify.
*The multi-warehouse is only available for TikTok US.

Inventory Rules: This option allows you to automatically adjust the quantities of all listings on TikTok in relation to the quantity on your main store.

Quantity: This rule allows you to send only a certain percentage of current in-stock items from Mainstore to TikTok.
For No Manage stock listings (no manage stock of the product on Mainstore), you can set the quantity shown on TikTok to a fixed number.
Maximum Quantity: This rule allows you to set the maximum quantity displayed on TikTok. This is a useful technique to create scarcity in your listings, hide how many you actually have from other sellers, and get around TikTok’s selling limits.
Minimum Quantity: Setting a minimum number means that LitCommerce will display a minimum of X units on TikTok no matter how many products you have in your central catalog. For example, if your available quantity drops to 0, but you have a minimum quantity rule of 5, LitCommerce will preserve your listing quantity at 5.

In case your main store is Shopify and there are several inventory locations, you can choose one or multiple inventory locations to synchronize your product inventory from Shopify to TikTok.

Order

This section allows you to control how the orders from TikTok are imported and processed by LitCommerce.

Unlinked order notifications: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will send you an email notification when there is an order from TikTok that has listing is not linked with a product in the main store, so that you can manually link the listing on order to the correct product on your main store and sync order again.

Skip Unpaid Orders: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will ignore all new orders on TikTok that are unpaid. We will not import the unpaid order from TikTok to the main store as well as not sync inventory from that order.

Import Orders to MainStore: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will import new orders from TikTok to your main store and sync the order status between the two platforms.

Keep order number from channel: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will use the same order number from TikTok for your main store.

Order Number Prefix: This option allows you to add a prefix to the order number from TikTok.

Import Orders Without Tax: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will subtract the tax amount from the total amount of the orders before importing them to your main store. If you disable it, LitCommerce will import the orders with the tax amount included.

Buyer Accepts Marketing: This option determines whether LitCommerce will mark the customers who buy from TikTok as consenting to receive email updates from your main store. If you enable it, LitCommerce will mark the customers as accepting marketing when importing them to your main store.

Send Receipt: This option determines whether LitCommerce will send an order confirmation email to the customers who buy from TikTok. If you enable it, LitCommerce will send an order confirmation email to the customers when importing the orders to your main store.

Send Fulfillment Receipt: This option determines whether LitCommerce will send a shipping confirmation email to the customers who buy from TikTok. If you enable it, LitCommerce will send a shipping confirmation email to the customers when updating the order status to fulfilled on your main store.

Other Settings

Title Sync: Enabling this option will trigger the tool to start updating all product titles from your mainstore to the corresponding TikTok listings.

Description Sync: Enabling this option will trigger the tool to start updating all product descriptions from your mainstore to the corresponding TikTok listings.

Clear Selected Product In List

Defaultly, LitCommerce will keep the selected listings on the Channel Product List after taking an action to bulk update them. Enabling this option will refresh the selected listings after an action is taken.

For Shopify

Create on Shopify Location: It allows you to choose a Shopify inventory location where the product inventory will be added when you create a product from TikTok to Shopify via our app.

Shopify to Tiktok carrier mapping This option allows you to map the Carrier from Shopify to a Carrier allowed on TikTok, so that the tracking and other shipping information can be updated to TikTok if you enable the Order sync and fulfill the order from Shopify.

Save Setting

After adjusting all the options according to your preferences, don’t forget to click on the Save Setting button at the bottom of the page. This will save all your changes and apply them to your TikTok channel.
