Create eBay templates & recipes
You can save eBay listing attributes as templates and apply it to other listings in bulk to save time and effort. Templates can be created for Title, Description, Price, Category, etc. For more information on how to apply templates, please see Templates and Recipes.
To create a new template, from your dashboard, navigate to Listing template and recipe > Listing Templates.
Choose your eBay channel from the left panel to create and edit templates for eBay listings.
Start by giving your LitCommerce’s template a nickname so you can easily find it when needed. If you choose the template as default, it will automatically be applied when you create new eBay listings.
Next, set up all the necessary categories for eBay listing including Primary category, Secondary category, and eBay store category.
With the Primary and Secondary categories, just fill in the keyword on the search bar then choose the suitable one. With the eBay store category, select from the dropdown list the categories you need.
Moreover, with eBay, you can also set up the Format & Duration and Condition. Simply choose what you need with your eBay store.
Lastly, you need to map the eBay item fields to the correct product attributes in order to use product data in these fields.
When it’s all done, click Save, and then you can apply it to your listing.
First, provide the template’s nickname, and you may also choose the template as the default.
Next, fill in the template for Title and Description that you want for your eBay listings. You can insert listing attributes in the template, which will be in the form of placeholders and will be replaced by actual product data when creating listings. To insert an attribute, click on the box next to the Title or Description field, and select from the dropdown list.
For example:
Title: {{name}} by {{brand}}, Model number {{manufacturermodel_number}}_
Description: This product is {{ name }}, made by {{ brand }}, and it costs {{ price }}
Click Save when you are done and apply the template for your listings.

Pricing Templates allow you to tailor the pricing for all of your listings.
Making significant modifications to all items in your listing will be a lot easier using the eBay price template. Furthermore, the rule may be applied to a single listing that you require.
You have the option of increasing or decreasing the price by a percentage or by a particular amount. You may also use the override option to replace the existing price of the product with a new one.
Note: You can use the Price Rules feature for currency conversion if you’re selling overseas. To convert the currency, go to Google.com and search for the current exchange rate from your Main store currency to the currency of your sales channel.
If the rate is greater than 1, then substract 1 from the rate and multiply the result by 100. Choose Increase in the first box.
If the rate is smaller than 1, then substract the rate from 1 and multiply the result by 100. Choose Decrease in the first box.
Enter the result in the Price Adjustment section and set the unit to Percent (%).
Also, the Best Offer price can be adjusted using the eBay pricing template. Clicking in to turn on the Best Offer option. Just like with the Buy It Now option, you can increase or decrease the price by percent or real amount.
If you’re selling in the auction listing format, go ahead and adjust the auction price with the eBay pricing template. You can choose between the option of calculated price and override price, they both can be bulk edited by percent and a certain quantity.
To finish the price template and activate it from your central catalog, click Save.
The Shipping Template for eBay lets you specify the shipping profile you wish to offer on certain groups of listings.
After giving the template a nickname, go ahead and choose the shipping profile from the options below. With this one, you can set up both Domestic and International shipping with all the necessary details such as shipping type, service, destination, shipping cost…
Also, you can choose to use eBay Global Shipping Program (GSP) when available. Additionally, you can exclude the location where your store does not provide shipping service when turning on the Excluded location.
Click Save to complete the process.
Payment and Returns Templates are the simplest way to set up payment as well as return methods.
Starting by giving your template a nickname, you can choose it as your eBay default as well.
You can save your PayPal address and payment instructions in the Payment & Returns Template. If desired, you can additionally request Immediate Payment and include Sales Tax. Also, make sure to set up your handling time. In case your handling time is more than 5 days, you might have to prepare multiple payment templates to account for each expected Handling Time window.
When it’s all done, click Save to complete the template then you can apply it from the central catalog.
Note: The concept of 'Sales Tax' is only applicable to eBay US and Canada (English and French) sites.
A recipe is just a collection of several templates that you’ve created. To make a new one, go to your channel’s dashboard, choose Listing Recipe, and then click Add new recipe template.
Next, give it a name, select a template from the dropdown menu, and click Save to finish. Following that, you may freely apply the entire recipe to your listing from the primary menu.
How to create eBay templates & recipes
