Why can’t I update inventory and price on eBay?
When running the inventory and price syncing process on eBay using the LitCommerce application, you may encounter the following error message:
This indicates that the listing is included in a running promotion on your eBay store. By default, the sale settings of the promotion on eBay don’t allow any inventory or price updates to the listings while the promotion is active. This prevents LitCommerce from updating the inventory and price adjustments to eBay.
This can easily be fixed by following the steps below to adjust the sale setting in your eBay store:
Head to your sale event on eBay and select the running event.
Uncheck the box Keep items in this sale and block revisions for price increases.
Save the sale settings.
Once you have completed these steps, you can wait for the sync process to run in the next 15 minutes from LitCommerce, or manually update your listing on eBay by using the button Update to eBay on LitCommerce.
After completing these steps, LitCommerce can update the price and inventory correctly to your eBay listings while the listing is still included in the promotion.
