How to list Products on Etsy
Once the Main Store and the first Sales Channel are successfully set up, all products from your Main Store will be imported to the All Products tab in LitCommerce.
This article provides a step-by-step guide to help you list your Products from your Main Store to Etsy using LitCommerce.
To list on Etsy, you will need to add a draft Listing to the Etsy channel in LitCommerce.
Go to the All Products tab in the Sidebar Menu.
Select the Products that you want to list on Etsy and click Select Action > List Products to Channels:
Choose the Etsy channel and click Add As Draft Now.
When creating a draft listing for Etsy for the first time, the "Add Default Templates" pop-up will appear. This pop-up, shown only during the initial creation of draft listings, displays essential templates (e.g., Category and Shipping templates) to help you apply consistent information across multiple listings.
Once added, these templates automatically become the Default Templates for the Channel and can only be set up once using this method.
You can choose to SKIP THIS STEP to bypass the process. If skipped, the pop-up will not reappear for future draft listings.
After adding Products as draft Listings, you can find them in the Etsy channel on the Sidebar Menu.
To edit the listing, click on the Listing title to access the Listing page and complete the Listing information according to Etsy’s requirements.
The Listing page in the Etsy channel consists of the following tabs:
Vital Info
Images
Pricing (for Simple Listing)
Variations (for Variant Listing)
Category
Shipping
Digital Product
Personalization
While the Vital Info, Images, Pricing, and Variations tabs are imported directly from All Products, you must manually complete the remaining tabs to meet Etsy’s requirements. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).
Select the production information.
Choose the Primary Category from Etsy’s available options.
By default, LitCommerce uses the Listing Title to suggest a matching Category. If the suggested Category isn’t suitable, enter any keywords to find another one.
Alternatively, you can browse from the list of Categories. Ensure you select an end-leaf category.
If you have the Etsy category ID, enter the Category #: box to automatically populate the category.
Once the Primary Category is selected, complete the item specifics that populate below.
Add tags for your listing (imported from All Products when available). LitCommerce will automatically adjust tags to meet Etsy’s standards:
Remove the last letters if a tag has more than 30 characters.
Keep only the first 13 tags (if more are provided).
Remove special symbols.
You can choose the Shop Section (imported from your Etsy store) when publishing on Etsy.
Select the Shipping Profile and Return Policy. You can add additional package weight and dimensions for clearer information.
LitCommerce only applies the information specified in the shipping tab/template directly to the Listings, without creating any new Profiles/Policies on your Etsy store.
You can enable Digital status and upload the file to sell on Etsy.
Files cannot be transferred from your Main Store and must be uploaded manually.
If the listing allows customization, toggle on and enter specific instructions for buyers.
Once you have completed all the required information on the Listing Page, you can save and publish the Listing on Etsy. Look at the bottom right corner and click on one of the buttons below:
Save & Publish: Save and publish all your changes immediately on Etsy.
Save & Close: The changes are saved as a draft on LitCommerce and exit the Listing Page.
Save Changes: Save the changes but stay on the page to continue editing.
To publish multiple Listings at once, navigate to the Draft tab on the Etsy channel, choose the listings, and then select the action Publish to Etsy.
When publishing on Etsy, you will be charged a listing fee for each item.

Once the Listings are published successfully on Etsy, they will be transferred from the Draft to the Active tab.
Otherwise, LitCommerce will display the errors from Etsy on the Listing Page and they must be corrected to proceed with the publication.
Besides, you can create the Listing on Etsy as drafts to review it before it goes live.
The Listing will be transferred to Draft in Etsy on both LitCommerce and your Etsy store.
