Etsy Channel Settings

This article walks you through the Etsy Channel Settings in LitCommerce. These settings control how your Main Store products sync with the corresponding linked Etsy listings.

More information is provided below.

Connection

This section consists of the following:

Channel Name

Use this box to give the channel any name you prefer. This helps distinguish it from other connected channels in LitCommerce.

Username

This field displays the Seller ID retrieved from your Etsy store.

Store URL

Once your Etsy store is successfully connected to LitCommerce, the tool will automatically pull the Store URL from the marketplace and display it here.

Status

This field shows the connection status between your Etsy store and LitCommerce.

The Etsy Channel follows the basic Price Sync Options.

Inventory

The Etsy Channel follows the basic Inventory Sync Options.

Aside from the basics, the Inventory section also includes another setting tailored to this specific marketplace.

Sync When Stock Is Below

Due to the Etsy API’s rate limit, LitCommerce syncs this channel's data every 60 minutes. Syncing every inventory adjustment can exhaust the allowed quota, temporarily preventing other listing updates from being processed.

This feature allows you to control when LitCommerce updates the inventory data to Etsy. Instead of syncing every single change, LitCommerce will only push inventory updates when the Main Store product’s quantity falls below a number you define.

Order

The Etsy Channel follows the basic Order Sync Options.

Due to Etsy API limitations, stores located in the United States, Türkiye, Canada, Germany, France, Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Ukraine, Australia, Greece, Netherlands, and Portugal are subject to certain order-related restrictions. Stores in other countries are not affected.

Shipping address will not be imported along with the orders. LitCommerce can only retrieve buyer’s name and product-related data, including the product name, SKU, quantity, shipping fee, tax, and other order-level details, and transfer it to your Main Store.

There are a few ways to handle this:

  • You can fulfill orders directly on Etsy, where all buyer information is available. This eliminates the need to import the shipping address into your Main Store.

  • If you fulfill orders in your Main Store, simply copy the shipping address from Etsy and manually enter it into the corresponding orders.

If orders are fulfilled in your Main Store, LitCommerce cannot sync the order status and tracking numbers to Etsy. This is also because of the same API limitations. You may refer to this article for more details.

Default Country for Incomplete Order (for Wix Main Store)

The Etsy API limitation causes orders imported from this marketplace via LitCommerce to exclude the shipping address. This led to the orders being automatically marked as fulfilled when imported to the Wix Main Store.

Use this feature to assign a default country for Wix orders, preventing missing data and avoiding incorrect status updates.

Other settings

Publish with Auto-Renew

Etsy listings that are inactive, sold out, or expired on the marketplace are only purchasable after being renewed. You can renew them either manually or automatically. More details can be found HERE.

Tailored specifically for the Etsy channel, this feature allows you to enable automatic renewal for new listings published from LitCommerce.

  • Automatic renewal only applies to Etsy listings under Inactive or Sold Out status on the LitCommerce Etsy channel.

  • Any listings that were Expired or manually set to Inactive need to be renewed manually.

SKU Sync

Enable this feature to sync the SKUs on your Etsy store with those in your Main Store. This helps maintain SKU consistency across connected platforms and ensures smooth management.

Note the following:

  • Inventory Sync must be enabled for SKU Sync to work.

  • When first enabled, only new updates (Inventory, Price, etc.) will trigger SKU Sync. Afterward, it will run every 60 minutes.

Title Sync

Enable this setting to sync product titles from your Main Store to Etsy. Updates occur every 60 minutes.

Description Sync

Enable this setting to sync product descriptions from your Main Store to Etsy. Updates occur every 60 minutes.

Weight Unit

Etsy requires selecting a weight unit before publishing a listing to ensure accurate display.

Choose one weight unit in the dropdown for automatic conversion when listing on Etsy. Learn more details HERE.

When applying a Shipping & Return Template that has a weight unit selected, this setting will be ignored.

Listing Sync Error Alerts

Enable this setting to receive email notifications when your Etsy listings fail to sync.

Unselect Products after Bulk Action

By default, selected listings remain checked after bulk actions. Enable this setting to automatically clear selections to prevent duplicate actions.

Sync to Main Store

If your Main Store has multiple warehouse locations, select one warehouse to do the following:

  • Sync to Location (only available for the Square Main Store): Update inventory in a specific warehouse when Etsy orders are imported.

  • Create on Location (available for both the Shopify and Square Main Stores): Update stock in a selected warehouse when creating listings from Etsy to the Main Store.

Carrier Service Mapping

If the Main Store carrier service is not supported by Etsy, orders fulfilled by that carrier may lack complete tracking information.

Enable this option to map the Main Store carriers to Etsy carriers. This ensures accurate tracking details appear in Etsy Order Tracking.

This feature is only available for accounts with the Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or Square Main Store.

Once you have completed setting up the Etsy Channel Settings, save the configurations using the Save Settings button at the bottom of the interface.

Due to Etsy’s API Rate limits, sync processes in LitCommerce may occasionally be delayed. Refer to this article for more details. Your data will update automatically once the limit resets.
