What is eBay Motors?
eBay Motors is eBay’s specialized marketplace section for vehicles, auto parts, accessories, and related automotive products.
eBay Motors is designed to support vehicle-based search, not just keyword search. Compared to regular eBay listings, eBay Motors parts and accessories listings are recommended to include more detailed product data, accurate item specifics, and fitment information. This information helps buyers find compatible parts, improves listing visibility, and reduces compatibility-related returns.
The marketplace section is available only for eBay US. Other eBay regions may have separate automotive categories for related listings.

What you need to know about eBay Motors in LitCommerce
LitCommerce supports eBay Motors as part of the eBay US marketplace, similar to other eBay categories.
For certain categories under eBay Motors > Parts & Accessories that support Compatibility information, LitCommerce displays a corresponding dedicated section for managing vehicle fitment details. This helps define which vehicles your parts are compatible with.
You can follow the steps below to access this section:
Log in to your LitCommerce account.
Access your targeted eBay channel and click on a listing title to open the Category tab in the listing details page.
Alternatively, enter the eBay Category Template from the Templates & Rules section on the sidebar menu.
Select or browse for a Primary Category under eBay Motors > Parts & Accessories.
Scroll down to find the Compatibility section, if available.
Compatibility data is displayed in a table format with dropdown fields, allowing you to select values from predefined options. The table may include the following fields, which vary depending on the selected category:
Year
The vehicle production year that the part or accessory fits.
This helps buyers check compatibility based on their vehicle model year.
2020
Make
The vehicle manufacturer or brand.
Ford
Model
The vehicle model that the part or accessory is compatible with.
F-150
Submodel
A more specific version or variant of the vehicle model, if available.
This may be used to narrow compatibility when the same model has different configurations.
Lariat
Trim
The trim level or package of the vehicle.
Trim can affect compatibility because different trims may use different parts or specifications.

Engine
The engine type, size, or configuration of the compatible vehicle.
This is important for parts that depend on engine specifications.

Use this field to clarify special conditions, restrictions, or installation notes.
Fits 4WD models only
You can duplicate existing rows to add similar compatibility data for easier editing or delete them.
For bulk management, LitCommerce supports importing compatibility data from CSV/XLSX files and exporting existing compatibility data when needed. Imported data will override the existing table information.
