Step 2: List or import Products in the Sales Channel
This article will help you determine the next step in listing and importing products in the Sales Channel.
Each Listing on your Sale Channels must be linked to a matching Product in the All Products tab. Once the Channel Settings are set up, the LitCommerce system can update price, quantity, and other product information for linked listing accurately.
Use Case 1: I have products on my eCommerce platform, now I want to list them on my other channels and enable sync.
Step 1: Add Draft Listings from the All Products tab to the Sales Channel.
First of all, you will need to add a draft listing to the sales channel in LitCommerce. To begin, go to the All Products tab on the Sidebar menu.
After that, choose the Products that you want to list and then select the action List Product to Channels.
Then, simply check the box next to the desired Channel and click Add As Draft Now.
Step 2: Edit draft listings in the Channel in LitCommerce.
Once your draft listings are ready, click the listing title to access the Listing Page.
This page organizes the listing information into different tabs. Since each marketplace has unique requirements, make sure to fill out all mandatory fields (with red asterisks).
To bulk edit listings, you can use the Multi Edit Mode or create templates and assign them to the listings.
Step 3: Publish draft listings to the Marketplace.
Once you have completed all the required information on the listing page, choose one of the following options:
Save & Publish - Save and publish all your changes immediately on the Marketplace.
Save & Close - Save your changes as a draft and exit the Listing Page.
Save Change - Save your changes but stay on the page to continue editing.
Step 4: Enable Sync Options.
Head to the Channel Settings to enable the syncing options for the channel. Refer to CASE 3 here.
Use Case 2: I have products on Sales channels, and now I want to import them into my eCommerce platform and enable sync
Step 1: Import existing products from the Marketplace to the Sales Channels in LitCommerce.
Select the second use case and click Import Your Existing Products Now.
In the Import Listing interface, you can apply a specific filter and click Begin Import.
After the initial import, click the Import from [Marketplace] button to import new products from the Marketplace anytime.
Step 2: Create listings on your eCommerce platform.
Once the listings are imported successfully to the sales channel, follow these steps:
Select the listings
Click Select Action button.
Choose Create on [Marketplace]
Step 3: Enable Sync Options.
Head to the Channel Settings to enable the syncing options for the channel. Refer to CASE 3 here.
Use Case 3: I have the same products on both my eCommerce platform and my Sales Channel, I want to link them and enable sync.
Step 1: Import existing products from the Marketplace to the Sales channel.
Step 2: Link listing from the sales channel to All Products.
In the Importing Listing screen, the option Auto link products from these imported listings (if they exist in my catalog with the same SKU or UPC) is enabled by default. Choose No if you want to link them manually.
If the listings are unlinked to All Products (indicated by the red dot on the link icon), manually link them by following the steps below:
Hover over the link icon.
Click Link to a Product.
Find the Product using the search box (use SKU or any keyword).
Tap Select.
After that, the link icon will turn blue, indicating that the listing is successfully linked to the Product in All Products.
Manual linking can only be performed for individual Listing.
Step 3: Enable Sync Options.
To do this, head to the Channel Settings to adjust the Syncing options from the Main Store to the Marketplace and save them.
