How to create Shopee Templates & Recipes

To bulk edit multiple listings with similar attributes, you can create and apply Templates and Recipes. This will automatically populate a predefined format of listing attributes.

Templates

The steps to create a template are available HERE. This section explains each type of template used on Shopee.

Title & Description Template

The template follows the LitCommerce Title & Description Template general structure. Check out this article for more details.

Category Template

You can find the following main fields in this template.

Primary Category

Search using keywords and assign a Primary Category from Shopee’s available options.

Alternatively, you can browse from the list of categories. Ensure you select an end-leaf category.

If you have a Shopee category ID, enter it in the Category ID: box to automatically assign the corresponding category.

Brand

Shopee requires each listing to have the Brand field specified from the approved brand list. Choose one that best matches your items.

If your brand does not appear in the dropdown list, you will need to submit a request for Brand Registration through the Shopee Seller Center. Once approved, the brand will become available for selection in your listings.

Select “NoBrand” if you do not want to provide the brand for the listings.

Condition

Specify the quality of the products being sold by selecting from the available list.

Size Chart

Select the size chart option from the available ones that were already set up on your Shopee Seller Center.

Pre Order

This option allows you to list products not yet available for immediate shipping, extending the preparation time before dispatch. Refer to this article for more details.

Enable the toggle to view and set a value for the Days to Ship field.

Product Attributes

These fields (including required and optional) appear after the Primary Category is selected. You can use them to provide more insights for the listings.

Product attributes vary depending on the selected category.

Pricing Template

This template features Price Adjustment and Price Rounding to modify and update Shopee listings’ prices based on the Main Store products. They follow the basic Price Rules Options.

Applying the Pricing Template will override the price rules in the Channel Settings.

Shipping Template

Set up shipping information for bulk listings using this template. It includes:

Domestic shipping: Enable any suitable shipping channels from those already set up in your Shopee Seller Center.

Weight and Dimensions: Enter a fixed value in each field or use Select Attribute to map the corresponding Main Store attribute for automatic data entry.

Extended Description

The Extended Description Template lets you include images in your listing descriptions, making them more visually appealing. All images must meet Shopee's description image guidelines.

LitCommerce will send the exact content entered in this box to Shopee and display it as your listing description.

This template only functions for whitelisted sellers. Reach out to Shopee Support to request whitelisting.

If both the Title & Description Template and the Extended Description Template are assigned to a listing, LitCommerce will priortize the Extended Description Template.

Recipe

The Shopee Recipes follow the same instructions as the Recipe.

By following these steps, you can create and manage the templates and recipes on the LitCommerce Shopee channel to help ensure your listings are completed and properly structured.
