What Is The Sync Fails Tab?

When using our Walmart integration tool, you may encounter products listed in the Sync Fails tab. These are listings that have already been published to Walmart but are facing certain errors, preventing them from being synced.

In this article, we will explain how to handle each type of these listings.

1. Overridden Listings


Overridden listings are those that have been replaced by another listing on LitCommerce and are not longer connected to the associated Walmart ID. This occurs when the SKU/Product ID Override is enabled on a listing that shares the same SKU or Product ID with an existing listing on LitCommerce. These listings will display the following warning message:
"This listing has been replaced by [link to the product] due to sharing the same Walmart ID (WPID). You may consider deleting it from LitCommerce or republishing it with an alternate SKU or Product ID."



For overridden listings, you may delete them if they contain duplicate information. Alternatively, you can republish them by changing the duplicated SKU or Product ID.

2. Listings with Mismatched SKUs


These listings could not be synced on LitCommerce due to a mismatch between the SKUs on LitCommerce and Walmart. This happens because the listing information was changed on Walmart without using LitCommerce. These listings will contain the following warning message:
"The Product SKU(s): [problematic SKU] on LitCommerce does not match the SKU on Walmart. The SKU(s) has changed without using LitCommerce. Please verify the SKU(s) to ensure the syncing process operates correctly. You can use the SKU/Product ID Override option to update the new SKU(s)."


For these listings, please review the SKU to ensure it is correct, enable the SKU/Product ID Override option, and then republish the listings.
