How to Connect Shopify as the Main Store
This article outlines the instructions for connecting Shopify as your Main Store to your LitCommerce account.
You can select either of the following methods to complete this step.
Method 1: Via LitCommerce
- Log into your LitCommerce account. If you don’t have one, sign up HERE.
- Locate Shopify and click Connect.
- Tap on Install Marketplace Integration and you’ll be redirected to the LitCommerce application on Shopify App Store.
Method 2: Via Shopify App Store.
- Go to the Shopify App Store and search for “LitCommerce” (or visit this link).
Registration on LitCommerce isn’t necessary. The system will automatically create a LitCommerce account using Shopify's owner's email address and set Shopify as the Main Store. Furthermore, an email with a random password will be sent for future login sessions.
In the LitCommerce app on the Shopify App Store, click on Install.
Log in to your Shopify account if prompted, then select the store you want to connect as the Main Store.
After installing the app, you’ll be redirected back to LitCommerce and your Shopify store will be designated as your Main Store in LitCommerce.
With your main store set up, you can now connect your first Sales Channel.
