How to connect Shopify as the Main Store

This article outlines the instructions for connecting Shopify as your Main Store to your LitCommerce account.

Step 1: Select Shopify as the Main Store

If you don’t have a LitCommerce account, sign up HERE. After that, you can select either of the following methods to complete this step.

Method 1: Via LitCommerce

Log in to your LitCommerce account. If this is your first setup, choose your desired LitCommerce app: Marketplace Integration or Feed Management.

Locate Shopify and click Connect.

Tap on Connect Your Account and you will be redirected to the LitCommerce app on Shopify App Store.

If you already log in to your Shopify store on the current web browser, it will be automatically connected as the LitCommerce Main Store.

Method 2: Via Shopify App Store

Go to the Shopify App Store and search for “LitCommerce” (or visit this link).

Registration on LitCommerce is not necessary. The system will automatically create a LitCommerce account using Shopify's owner's email address and set Shopify as the Main Store. Furthermore, an email with a random password will be sent for future login sessions.

Step 2: Install LitCommerce application on Shopify

In the LitCommerce app on the Shopify App Store, click on Install.

After installing the app, you will be redirected back to LitCommerce and your Shopify store will be designated as your Main Store in LitCommerce.

With your Main Store set up, you can now connect your first Sales Channel.
