Step 1: Connect your first platforms
Getting started with LitCommerce by connecting your first platforms. This article walks you through the setup process.
After accessing your LitCommerce account, you will find the “Connect Your First Platform” screen.
From there, select a platform from either Marketplaces or Shopping Carts. LitCommerce will adapt the connection flow based on your selection.
Regardless of which option you choose first, the goal remains the same: to complete your initial LitCommerce setup with one Main Store and one sales channel connected.
A Main Store is the source of truth for product data, including inventory, pricing, and other product information. LitCommerce supports Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Square, and LitCommerce (Native) as Main Stores.
A sales channel is a connected store from either a Marketplace or a Shopping cart. Product data from your Main Store will be used to create and update listings on these channels.
During the connection process, LitCommerce will display corresponding instructions for each selected platform. Required information may vary by platform and is marked with a red asterisk. Complete all required fields before proceeding.
With shopping carts, you can find and install the LitCommerce app or plugin from the eCommerce app stores. Once installed, you'll be redirected to the LitCommerce dashboard to proceed with further steps.
For example: The LitCommerce app on Shopify, on WordPress.org.
If you do not have a shopping cart to use as the Main Store, first connect your marketplace channel, then click the Skip - I Don’t Have Any Of These button to connect LitCommerce (Native) as your central hub.
After completing the setup, your LitCommerce account is ready for the next actions. You can start importing products, creating listings, or setting up sync between your Main Store and sales channel.
You can connect multiple individual Main Stores under one LitCommerce account. Each Main Store operates as a separate sub-account.
You can connect additional channels based on the Subscription plan limit.
