How to connect Woocommerce as the Main Store

This article outlines the instructions for connecting WooCommerce as your Main Store to your LitCommerce account. Please note that LitCommerce doesn’t support Local Host from WordPress.

Step 1: Select WooCommerce as the Main Store.

Ensure that you have an account on LitCommerce. If you don’t have one, sign up HERE.

After that, you can select either of the following methods to complete this step.

Method 1: Via LitCommerce

Log into your LitCommerce account.
Locate WooCommerce and click Connect.



Tap on Install Marketplace Integration and you’ll be redirected to the WordPress Plugin Store to download the LitCommerce plugin.


Method 2: Via WooCommerce.

Visit the WordPress Plugin Store
Search for LitCommerce

Step 2: Install the LitCommerce plugin on the WordPress Plugin Store

If Method 1 was selected:
- Click Download to install the LitCommerce plugin.



- Choose Upload New Plugin in the WordPress dashboard and select the downloded LitCommerce plugin:



If Method 2 was chosen:
- Click on Install Now.


Tap on Activate.



Once activated, WordPress will initiate the process to establish the connection to LitCommerce.

Upon successful completion, you will be redirected to the LitCommerce application and WooCommerce will be connected as the Main Store.


If the connection process between WordPress and LitCommerce fails, check your firewall settings or try reinstalling the LitCommerce plugin.

With your main store set up, you can now connect your first Sales Channel.
