Feed Setup - Quality Check

What is Feed Quality?

The Quality step assesed whether your feed meets the requirements of export channel.

The Quality Check Bar provides a visual indicator of your feed's quality, using three different colors:
Green: the number of SKUs with valid data in all required and recommended fields.
Red: the number of SKUs with required fields that are either empty or not mapped.
Yellow: the number of SKUs with recommended fields that are empty or not mapped.

Below the bar, a detailed table outlines any issues in your feed, while Action buttons on the right allow you to address these problems and optimize feed quality.
The Mapping button takes you to the Mapping step, where you can map product fields to export fields. The View button displays a list of products with identified issues.

Types of Errors

There are two common error types displayed in the Quality section:

1. Field contains values that are empty

What does this error mean?
This error indicates that a field which already mapped in the Mapping step is empty for a number of products. Clicking on the error will reveal which products are affected.

How do I fix this error?
The solution depends on the missing information and whether it exists in another field. For instance, if the "Brand" field is missing for some products but is included in the product titles or descriptions, you can use a “search for value” rule to fill in the missing Brands.

If the information is not available elsewhere, you'll need to add it from your Main Store.

2. Field is not connected to a field, check the mapping in 'Mapping'

What does this error mean?
This error occurs when, in the Mapping step, a product field has not been linked to the channel field name. Clicking on the Action button will take you to the Mapping step, where you can see which fields are not mapped.

How do I fix this error?
To fix this, you need to map the product field from Main Store to the appropriate channel field name in the Mapping step. For example, for the channel field name "availability", you should link it to the internal field "availability".
