Feed Conditions: Length exceeds

LitCommerce Feed Management offers multiple rules when setting up your feed, enabling you to locate, modify, and optimize your product data for the target platform.

This article introduces you to the “Length exceeds” condition.

Set up and apply

For more details on how to set up and apply the rule, refer HERE

How It Works

The “Length exceeds” condition appears under the If, And, and Or-statements for fields that contain text data. It allows you to locate products whose selected attribute data contains text longer than a specified number of characters.

The character limit counts letters, numbers, spaces, and punctuation.

This rule is ideal for finding overly long titles, descriptions, or labels that may violate the platform’s requirements to make the necessary adjustments.

Example: Google Shopping has a 150-character limit for product titles. You can use this condition to find products with titles that exceed this limitation to make further adjustments.

If “Product Title” - “length exceeds” - “150”

LitCommerce will filter products whose titles contain more than 150 characters accordingly.

You can use the rule “length doesn’t exceed” to take the opposite effect.
