LitCommerce Feed Management offers multiple rules when setting up your feed, enabling you to locate, modify, and optimize your product data for the target platform.

This article introduces you to the “Append value” action.

How it works

The “Append value” action appears under the Then, And, and Else-statements. It allows you to add extra text or numbers to the product attributes (such as titles, descriptions, and more) without altering the original data.

The added text will appear at the end of the original value.

This rule is ideal for adding more details, tailoring the content specifically for the platform. 

Example: You would like to include more details in the product title using the existing data to improve search algorithms and click-through rates. The following action can be set:

Take “Product Title” and “append value” - “ - Best in Town”

This will add the text “ - Best in Town” to the titles of all target products, such as “Bee Cupcake produced by Crème Florale Co. - Best in Town”.
