eBay Channel Settings
If you are using LitCommerce to list your products on eBay, you need to configure your eBay channel settings to sync your prices, inventory, orders, and other information with your main store. In this article, we will explain what each section of eBay settings means and how to adjust them according to your needs.
The channel name field shows the name of your sales channel on LitCommerce. This name is only used on LitCommerce (does not affect the eBay site) and can be changed anytime you want.
This section shows the basic information about your eBay account which is connecting with LitCommerce, including username, store URL, marketplace, and connection status. You can also test the connection between LitCommerce and eBay by clicking on the Test connection button.
This section allows you to control how the prices of your products on eBay are synchronized with the prices on your main store.
Price Sync: If you enable this option, LitCommerce will adjust the prices on eBay to match with the main store, and any changes in the prices in your main store will be reflected on eBay automatically.
Use Sale Price: By default, LitCommerce uses the compare-at price (if available) for price synchronization. If this option is enabled, we will use the sale price for price synchronization.
For example, if you have a product with a regular price of $10 and a compare-at price of $15 on your main store, LitCommerce will use $15 as the price on eBay by default. However, if you enable this option, LitCommerce will use the regular price ($10) for price synchronization instead.
Strikethrough Price (STP): This option applies only if your account is eligible for discounted item listing on eBay (you get approved by eBay to participate in eBay’s Strike-Through Pricing Program)
LitCommerce will utilize the Price values entered in your products as the OriginalRetailPrice on eBay, which will be stricken through once Strike-Through Pricing is enabled. Furthermore, the Sale Price values entered in your products will appear as the Buy It Now Price on eBay. Please find more details here
Price Rules:
This option allows you to automatically adjust the prices of all listings on eBay in relation to the prices on your main store. You can choose to increase or decrease the product price by a fixed amount or a percentage, and round up or down the final price.
For example, if you have a product with a regular price of $10 in your main store, and you choose to increase the product price by 20% and round up the final price on eBay, LitCommerce will use $12 as the price on eBay.
Please find more details about Price Rules here
This section allows you to control how the inventory of your products on eBay is synchronized with the inventory in your main store.
Inventory Sync:
If you enable this option, LitCommerce will update the quantities on eBay to match the main store, and any changes in the stock quantities in your main store will be reflected on eBay automatically.
This feature also automatically imports new Orders from eBay to LitCommerce tool and syncs updated quantities back to your Mainstore. Please note that only orders created since you enable Inventory sync will be processed.
Keep the product active: This feature allows you to keep your product in eBay active if the product in the main store is in status private/draft/archived
Ebay Out Of Stock Control:
The fact is that when a listing is sold out on eBay, it will be ended and unlinked with LitCommerce automatically. When the product is restocked on the main store, you will need to manually relist a new listing instead of making adjustment to the old listing because eBay does not allow editing ended listings. In this case, you can select that ended listing on LitCommerce, select Relist to eBay to list that listing on eBay. If you would like to list the item again from the Main store product, please unlink the listing in the ended section on LitCommerce eBay channel, then select the product from "All products" then click to List on Channel.
Our option Ebay Out Of Stock Control allows you to determine what happens when the stock of a product reaches 0 on eBay:
If you enable this option, LitCommerce will keep the listing alive but mark it as out of stock on eBay. This means that buyers will not be able to purchase the product until you restock it in the main store.
If you disable it, the listing will end on eBay when the stock quantity reaches 0. This means that buyers will not see the product anymore until you relist it on eBay.
In addition, if you have an active product on Shopify and then archive it on Shopify, it will become ended on eBay (if out-of-stock control turns off) and out of stock (if out-of-stock control turns on).
Auto relist:
When a listing is ended on eBay, if you relist it manually on the eBay store, a new listing will be created besides the old listing. Therefore, to avoid duplicates, you will need to delete the old listing on LitCommerce first and import the new listing from eBay to LitCommerce.
Our option Auto-relist allows you to determine whether LitCommerce will automatically relist a product when it becomes available again in your main store.
If you enable this option, LitCommerce will automatically relist the product with the same listing details as before. You will also DO NOT need to delete the old listing on LitCommerce and import the new listing from eBay to LitCommerce
If you disable it, you will have to relist the product manually by clicking to "relist to eBay" from LitCommerce eBay channel, or unlink the ended listing on LitCommerce, then list the item again from the Main Store product.
LitCommerce tool is now supporting two options to auto-relist Fixed Price listing and Auction listing to eBay, depending on the need of users.
Inventory Rules: This option allows you to automatically adjust the quantities of all listings on eBay in relation to the quantity on your main store.

For No Manage stock listings (no manage stock of the product on Mainstore), you can set the quantity shown on eBay to a fixed number.
Maximum Quantity: This rule allows you to set the maximum quantity displayed on eBay. This is a useful technique to create scarcity in your listings, hide how many you actually have from other sellers, and get around eBay’s selling limits.
Minimum Quantity: Setting a minimum number means that LitCommerce will display a minimum of X units on eBay no matter how many products you have in your central catalog. For example, if your available quantity drops to 0, but you have a minimum quantity rule of 5, LitCommerce will preserve your listing quantity at 5.
In case your main store is Shopify and there are several inventory locations, you can choose one or multiple inventory locations to synchronize your product inventory from Shopify to eBay.
